Trebor and Hillwood have successfully let Unit 7 at Access @ Eastern Gateway Ipswich, comprising 33,139 sq ft, to a confidential national distributor. The occupier, who wishes to remain confidential at this stage, has taken immediate occupation following the speculative scheme’s completion earlier this summer.

Four units remain, ranging from 12,897 to 52,491 sq ft, and are available for immediate occupation. The scheme is part of the wider Eastern Gateway commercial park, which is now established as Ipswich’s premier industrial and logistics location.

Trebor and Hillwood have reached practical completion on their latest scheme, Access @ Eastern Gateway Ipswich. Units ranging from 12,897 to 52,491 sq ft are now available for occupation to prospective local occupiers. The scheme is part of the wider Eastern Gateway commercial park, which is now established as Ipswich’s premier industrial and logistics location.

Magrock Ltd were appointed as Main Contractor in summer 2023 and have completed the scheme on programme. The units provided are best-in-class accommodation for Ipswich and surrounds, built to an enhanced sustainable specification including BREEAM “Excellent” certification. Other occupiers already on site include Amazon and La Doria.

Construction works have started and are progressing well at Eastern Gateway, Ipswich, on an 8-acre scheme that Trebor Developments and Hillwood acquired earlier in 2023.

Main Contractor, Magrock Ltd, started on site in July 2023 on the five unit industrial and logistics scheme that ranges in size from 12,905 to 52,250 sq ft.

Steelworks are planned to be going up from September 2023 and the development is on programme to complete in May 2024, as planned.

The units are being built speculatively by National property developer Trebor and will offer much needed accommodation to local occupier requirements when complete, in an area that remains undersupplied with good quality new build space. When finished the scheme is expected to create approximately 250-350 jobs for Ipswich and the surrounding area, in addition to the construction jobs already secured.

The units will also be highly sustainable, built to BREEAM “Excellent” standards and EPC “A”. The scheme is being marketed as “Access @ Eastern Gateway, Ipswich” and will complement the existing units already developed on site for Amazon and La Doria.

Trebor Developments and Hillwood have acquired 8 acres of commercial development land from Ipswich Borough Council at Eastern Gateway, Ipswich.

Prior to acquiring the site, Trebor secured detailed planning consent in 2022 for a five unit industrial and logistics scheme, ranging in size from 12,905 to 52,250 sq ft. The units will be built speculatively, with Magrock Ltd having been selected as Main Contractor, and will start on site in July 2023 targeting practical completion in Q2 2024. When finished, the scheme is expected to create approximately 350 jobs for Ipswich and the surrounding area.

The scheme is being marketed as “Access @ Eastern Gateway, Ipswich” and will complement the existing units already developed on site for Amazon and La Doria.

Ipswich Borough Council are carrying out further improvements to the wider scheme including new estate roads and access, cycleways, and public footpath links which enhance the offering to future tenants even further.
